It’s a peaceful place. At least it was until a few days ago. There is no excuse for the violence that is taking place there now. I’m angry about it. Probably some of the same “religious people” who I shared butter tea with are now under fire. I can only keep them in my prayers. Something needs to be done. The big sporting event that is coming up later this year is a perfect opportunity for countries to express their displeasure with the actions of a government that has no respect for an ancient culture.
