Warmup: Print off this article about cheating in China and ask your students to read through it together. Talk about some of the new vocabulary words and then discuss the substance of the article. This should be a very interesting subject to discuss since cheating is so prevalent in China.

- What are the entrance exams like? Is it easy to cheat on these exams?
- Is cheating wrong or is just a ‘tool for survival’ like the article said?
- What are other types of cheating that take place? Are students allowed to copy information off the internet?
- How can one be proud if he or she cheats on a test? Is there any such thing as taking pride in academic work in China?
