Recently a French couple showed their 'gratitude' to Canada, by making a pornographic film of themselves having sex at the Vimy memorial, then posting it on the internet, and then inviting viewers to pay to watch it.....For 'desecration and exibitionism' they were fined a puny 800 dollars by a French court, and given a four month suspended prison sentence. And they were far from being the first either, to ' vandalize the fallen' I wonder what the citizens of Canada have to say about all this? ....At the very least, it just shows that some Westerners can be as gross and moneygrubbing as some Chinese. I really think that this decision was all about money. It was a small magazine so maybe they wanted some attention.
