Level: Beginner to Advanced

Find someone who….ESL Conversation Topic is similiar to other ESL topics on this website. This activity will give your voice a rest and allow your students to mingle with each other.

Warmup: Pass out a sheet with the following material on it to every student. Tell them they must get 16 separate signatures in order finish. When everyone has finished, you can sit down and discuss the questions.

Find someone who…

1. sent at least 5 text messages today

2. has danced for 5 or more hours straight before

3. eaten a mooncake this week

4. lost a cell phone this year

5. two sisters

6. who watched EVERY minute of the Olympic Opening Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony

7. ate fast food today

8. has seen the movie The GodFather

9. is going on a trip for the Mid Autumn’s Holiday next week

10. was in Beijing during the Olympic Games

11. has a QQ number

12. has curled their hair before

13. has a foreign friend OUTSIDE of this school

14. practices English on their MP3 Player

15. plays computer games often

16. knows the capital city of the United States
