Talking about the future is fun because it allows students to use their imaginations.
Warmup: Print off an article from the internet that was written about the future 40 or 50 years ago. Ask the students to read the article and then discuss which predictions are true now.
Questions to ask:
- Can we predict the future?
- What do you want for your future?
- What do you want for the future of China?
- What are things that you can do to improve your future?
- Are you excited about the future?
