A Video on How to Make Chinese Dumplings

There are many kinds of Chinese dumplings that you can make. In this video, we are making crab and mushroom dumplings but you can choose to make any kind of dumplings you want. Whatever you choose, you will definitely need Dumpling Covers which is ’Jiaozi Pi Er’ in Chinese Pinyin or  ’饺子皮儿’ in Chinese characters.

You will also need: Meat, Vegetables,Salt/MSG,Flour

1. Chop up the vegetables and meat finely.

2. Put the meat in a bowl and then add your vegetables one-by-one depending on how many you have.

3. Add salt and msg; feel free to add soy sauce,pepper or whatever else you might enjoy tasting laster on.  

4. Mix together until the ingredients are all ’stuck’ and ’mashed’ together. 

5. Put the mix in the freezer for 10 minutes. While you are waiting, you should put some flour on a table so that the dumplings do not stick as you create them..
