Retiring Sino News on The China Teaching Web
Written by Robert Vance on October 12, 2008 – 4:25 pmRobert Vance here. The last six months have seen TeachAbroadChina.com grow and flourish as more and more people visit our website for information and news about China. Everywhere I look, people are quoting articles and commenting on other blogs about the discussions that take place here. I am very proud of the work that we have accomplished here and I look forward to bringing even more visitors in before we reach the end of the year.
My main job, of course, continues to be teaching English in China. Until recently, I was posting 4-5 times a week on this website which was an exhausting task. Now, I plan to take this website in a slightly different direction by focusing more on our wonderful and informative China message board which can be found on the front page of this website. As of today, I am removing Sino News from our lineup; the many articles that I have written will remain on our website for your enjoyment. I will, however, continue to post to The Vance Report, which is my personal blog about all things China. This report will replace the Sino News feed for now so that the articles will continued to be fed to our web syndicates. I will also occasionally be posting to the various China sections on our website but I am quite happy with the amount of informative and still very relevant articles that are available on our website. Jean Chesterton from Ask Jean About China will also continue to write his weekly column and as always, you are more than welcome to send him questions.
Please tell your friends about our China forum. We look forward to continuing our great discussions about China on the message board. Registering is not even necessary to particpate. See you on the web!
