  • Friends tell me that garage sales would never work in China because Chinese people “dont like to buy old things.”
  • Arab people get profiled in China too. On two separate occasions, on my way in and out of Hong Kong this week, the lines were held up by Arab men being questioned by the border officials.
  • More trouble in Tib*t today but no one (who can do anything about it) seems to care. It’s all about the money flowing in and out of China.
