So it’s my day off today…
Written by Robert Vance on March 9, 2008 – 11:41 pmDon’t get me wrong. The school I am working for has treated me really well. But since most of the staff aren’t from around this area, no one really knows how to get around this “big” city. It is up to me to figure out which bus to take to work, how to get to Walmart, and how to get to the beautiful lakes in the area (assuming they exist). So today is my day off and I plan to do some exploring. I’ll grab some lunch and then start trekking around the city. If I get lost I suppose I can always grab a taxi back to my apartment or look for the “small mountains” that are in the back of my apartments. Anyway, wish me luck. I’m off!
