The Edison Sex Scandal Phenomenon

You must be feeling disappointed right about now. You were searching for Edison Chen sex photos on a search engine and you were led here. Sorry, you were led astray. There are no photos here. But wait! Do not close the page yet. Stay for a few minutes. You are one of many people who have wandered to my website recently looking for information about the young scandal ridden actor. Ever since I wrote the article Sex and Hypocrisy - The Edison Chen Scandal , my site has been flooded with all kinds of searched related to Edison Chen; and it hasn’t let up. I even gave an interview to a Western magazine earlier this week about the scandal. In other words, while the news about the scandal may have died down, the interest still very must exists.

Right now Edison Chen is being treated as a ‘whipping boy’ throughout China. He is being vilified and spat upon. One of my students today even suggested that he had a mental illness. But I think that Edison Chen may be remembered as a hero someday. He may go down as the young man who single handedly broke wide open the discussion about China’s changing sexual values. Never in my years in China have I heard such an open and frank discussion about sex as a result of this scandal; it is truly a cultural phenomenon.

So, I apoligize if you were disappointed about what you found on this page. I just had to mention Edison Chen one more time on this website since he has brought so many of you here. Continue your search. I hope you find what you are looking for!
